Retired foster carer household membership

Our retired foster carer membership is designed to offer you protection and support during your retirement.

This membership is open to retired foster carers who have deregistered, are no longer fostering and who support The Fostering Network’s aims and values.

Your retired foster carer membership should start immediately after your previous foster carer membership ends to ensure continuous cover.  If there is a gap and you take out cover later, your new membership will begin from its start date, and any period before that will not be covered.

As a retired foster carer member, you will share our commitment to supporting, enriching and empowering those who work together, to offer love, warmth, stability and hope to children and young people.

Retired foster carer membership is just £30.87 per household, per year and can be taken out directly by a former foster carer or by a fostering service for their former foster carers.

If you are still fostering and would like to join us in membership, please refer to our foster/kinship carer page.
